My friend Cathy is a successful businesswoman.  She is a baby-boomer and is very interested in getting back on a bicycle for fitness and recreation. 

 

I met Cathy through a start-up company that is headed by a woman designer who has, what we think are some great inventions in the bicycle accessory category.  Through this association Cathy has been learning the specialty bicycle retail channel of trade.

 

At the beginning of the summer, in June, Cathy started shopping for a bicycle.
